Market Overview:

NEPSE Index: The market dropped 18.14 points (- 0.68%) to close at 2, 635.09 after six straight positive trading sessions.
Opening and Closing: It started the session at 2656.5, hit the day’s high and low of 2656.61 and 2629.06 respectively to end the session at 2635.09

and Transactions: Total turnover was around NPR 7.3 billion, total 73,309 transactions made in 308 listed companies out of which 15,723,379 shares were traded.
Top Performers:

Leading Company: The highest turnover list was occupied by Super Madi Hydropower Limited (SMHL) which had trades of NPR 448.8 million and closed at NPR 1,492 per share.

Top Gainers: Barahi Hydropower Public Limited and Himalayan Power Partner Ltd both had an improvement of their share prices by 10%.

Top Loser: Among all the company shares in NePal, Saptakoshi Development Bank Ltd (SAPDBL) dropped most sharply with a 9.23% reduction.
Sector Performance:

Gainers: The Hotel and Tourism sector reflected the highest increase and it increased by 0.99%.

Losers: The Finance sector declined the most, by 2.93%.
Brokerage Highlights:
- Top Brokers: The top five brokers were Sharepro Securities (Broker No. 65) with total transaction amount of NPR 1,181.6 million and Naasa Securities (Broker No. 58) with NPR 777.1 million.
